CARPET CLEANING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Over the years, we’ve compiled a list of questions we frequently get asked about our carpet cleaning services. We believe its very important for our customers to be informed BEFORE making a decision to purchase. That’s why we greatly enjoy any and all questions you may ask about what we do and how we do it.

Q: After you finish cleaning my carpets, how long does it take to dry?
A: The usual drying time is 2-3 hours. Sometimes it can take a little longer to dry, and sometimes your carpets will dry quicker than that. It greatly depends on the kind of air flow in your house, how humid it is outside, and how many rooms we cleaned.

Q: How soon can you get me in your schedule?
A: Most our customers enjoy same day service. There are times when our carpet cleaning crews have a full day of work and we cannot schedule you until the next day or later in the week. We know when you’ve made the decision to have your carpets cleaned, you will want them cleaned as quickly as possible. This is why we do whatever we can to provide same day service.

Q: How often do you recommend having your carpets cleaned?
A: For an average home, experts recommend having your carpets cleaned at least every one to two years. If the foot traffic on your carpets is less, you can have them cleaned less frequently. For the areas of your house that receive heavy foot traffic (near entry ways, main living rooms, etc.), you may want to have your carpets cleaned even more regularly than once a year.

Q: Are there any types of carpets you cannot clean?
A: The short answer is no. We can clean any type of carpet. The type of cleaning we perform may differ depending on the type of carpet you have, but there is always some level of cleaning we can perform.

Q: What is steam cleaning?
A: Steam cleaning is the process of heating water to near boiling (212 degrees), and then pressurizing the steam from that water before shooting it on your carpet. Steam cleaning is the best method for cleaning carpets because the steam penetrates deep within the carpet fibres where the toughest dirt and stains live. This steam then dissolves or kills anything living in your carpet and leaves it almost as clean as when you bought the carpet.

Q: Do you use chemicals when cleaning carpets?
A: On most of our jobs, we do use very minor, non-invasive chemicals to help with the cleaning process. Most of the carpet cleaning is done with the steam treatment, but sometimes stains or dirt is extra difficult to remove and some light chemical are needed to make your carpets good as new. All our chemicals are approved as safe to be used in a house environment.

Q: How does your rug cleaning service work?
A: Our company offers both in house rug cleaning and out of house rug cleaning. If you’re okay with us cleaning your rug  at your house, our team will gladly come to you and clean your rug. If you’d rather have your rug cleaned in our warehouse, we also offer rug pick-up and delivery. We will pick up your rug on a date and time convenient for you, and when its complete one of our team members will drop off your freshly cleaned rug.

Q: Are you a Cardinals fan?
A: OF COURSE! I’d like to say being a cardinals fan is a pre-requisite for working at our company, but we have a few non-cardinals fans we let work with us. However, nearly everyone is a die-hard cardinals fan, so feel free to talk about baseball with us when we come clean your carpets.

We hope these answers have been helpful, and if you have any other questions for us, please give our team a call today!
